1996 Topps, Brady Anderson

Card No. 258

A key debate during the mid '90s centered around who had the dreamiest sideburns: TV star Luke Perry or Brady Anderson....Perry had the cool car and the pretty girlfriend, but I don't think he ever produced a 50-homer season like Anderson did....Brady was drafted out of Cal-Irvine by the Red Sox in 1985....He's pictured as a Red Sock on his '88 Topps Traded rookie card....Prior to his 50 homers for Baltimore in 1996, Brady had produced just 72 long balls over his first eight big league seasons.
